Sitting at the kitchen table, my feet not touching the floor, paint brush in hand is the first memory of painting with water colors, my legs grew and my interest never faded. Although making art as a full time occupation has been a dream, it has been entwined with a variety of other life demands.
My passion is animals particularly dogs and narrowing that to four Scottish Terriers and one Otterhound; their antics and personalities are inspiring. Hiking in the forest, mountains or the open tundra refresh and provide subject to paint with the ever changing light.
Returning to Maine to literally sell the farm after a visit to Alaska over 30 years ago I call Alaska home as I cannot think of any place else I would rather be.
